I got my car worked on today, like I planned, but it wasn’t the most pleasant experience so I only got a little bit of reading done. It also took a hell of a long time (and I’m going back tomorrow morning (yay check engine light~~~)) so I didn’t have a lot of time to work today. Regardless, strip number 1 is assembled and the vectors are fixed and ready. I’m happy with the result, considering there was a lot of fixing to do because I hadn’t changed any tool settings when I first inked it. I spent a lot of time trimming extra anchor points.
By assemble I mean I put all the parts (rows of frames) on the same page. It’s encouraging because it’s really starting to look like a actual strip now. I’ve been looking forward to this and I’m looking forward to coloring even more (or colouring, if you’re so inclined). I’m tempted to jump right in and color this strip, but I think it’ll be better to get into a groove with this first so things go a little smoother (assembly-line style?). For now, I’m working on the PC because everything’s set up a little more conveniently. I think it goes faster this way too.
I’m watching Strikeforce at the moment (the commentators are so bad) but it’s time to go to bed. I have to wake up early tomorrow (6am) to take my car in again. Woot!
