Today’s been quite a day and I’m trying to get this post in before midnight. I woke up in the middle of a dream where I had a bunch of art stuff from college up on the wall. I didn’t think much of it at first but then I realized they were all drawings that I was really proud of, and some were even animated (which was awesome). I can’t remember the last time I dreamt about art or drawing.
My work day that followed sucked shit through a straw, so I went to sleep for a while once I got home. More importantly, I got up and got some shit done (which of course included more Kitchen Nightmares). Strip number six is inked! More wrist pain, but I don’t have to worry about that for at least a little while. After I get my car worked on tomorrow, I can spend some time correcting (hopefully) small mistakes in the inking process, then it’s time to start coloring.
To clarify about the reading I plan on doing tomorrow while waiting at the dealership, the book on genetics is in fact Genetics for Dummies, I’m not trying to paint myself as a scientist. I know kind of the real basics of genetics, but I’d feel more comfortable writing future story lines with just a little more knowledge under my headband.
New sneakers came today and I have to say, new sneaker smell ≥ new car smell.
